Land-Use and Area Planning
We count on extensive and renowned experience in land-use and area planning.
In this area, our services are quite focused on the follow-up of private projects, of varied nature, which require a land-use planning framework, namely by drafting development and detailed plans and by conducting a continuous and integrated follow-up of the respective drafting procedures, up to their approval and publication.
Our experience in this area has, frequently, meant we are tasked with the coordination of multidisciplinary teams and responsible for liaising with the several Public Administration bodies.
The execution of land-use plans is another area where we have conducted our activity, through the design and development of several integrated instruments, such as execution units or urban development contracts. We always seek for solutions which are suitable to the needs of our clients, with reduced administrative and tax costs, which is also a result from the experience gained in matters, such as, real estate, taxation and land registry.
Furthermore, our collaboration has often been requested to design normative solutions, through our participation in the development of legislative and regulatory provisions. We have participated, as a consulting entity, in the assessment of legal frameworks pertaining to soil, land-use planning and urbanism, as well as in the subsequent stage of designing the guiding principles of the respective reform.
We often participate in the drafting of land-use plans and programmes of national and regional scope - regional, sectoral and coastline plans, and plans for classified dams - and of municipal scope - municipal master plans, and respective revisions, and development and detailed plans.
